Neurodiversity

What is neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity is the term used to describe differences in cognitive functioning that affect learning, thinking, attention and memory. Recognized types of neurological difference include dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism.

It is estimated that around 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent.

Every employer should be aiming to promote an inclusive, neurodiverse workplace by giving employees access to the help and support they need. Additionally, employees need to be aware of the support they’re entitled to. In the UK, this can be provided through the government’s Access to Work scheme.

Ayoa’s an absolute godsend for my little visually needy disorganised autistic/adhd brain. There are so many features designed with neurodivergent clients in mind and the free version is excellent. As well as 3 types of mindmap there's also non linear task planning and so many choices for shapes and outlines!! I wish I'd found it sooner.

Neurological inclusivity

It’s important for every workplace and educational environment to be neurologically inclusive. This means an environment where everyone is able to work to the best of their ability, regardless of neurological differences.

Ayoa is a neurologically inclusive tool – that means our software provides a space in which neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals can work at their best, together.

By adopting a tool that benefits every member of the team, workplaces and educational institutions can ensure they are providing their employees and students with the right foundation for their best possible work.

You don't get harmony when everyone sings the same note.
Doug Floyd

Why choose Ayoa?

Traditional, linear work methods can be harder to process for neurodiverse people – this is because their brains interpret information differently.

Ayoa offers a flexible approach to learning and working that inspires creative, radial thinking and utilizes visual working techniques.

Neurodiversity

Mind Mapping is a popular visual thinking device and an invaluable tool in the creative thinking process. Ayoa Mind Mapping software uses a distinct combination of colors, images and visual-spatial arrangement which helps users to break down complex information, present ideas and problem solve.

Unlike other tools, Ayoa also comprises Task Management and Collaborative features to allow you to not only generate great ideas, but turn them into actionable tasks that teams can work on together.
