New Features, New Apps & one VERY exciting integration…Part 1

The last few months – as you’ve probably guessed – have been fairly hectic here at DropTask HQ. If we weren’t working on polishing up PRO ready for its official release in the coming weeks, or gearing up for the iPad and iPhone App launch, then we were working on some exciting new features that will be coming later this year – not to forget our official DropTask Android apps that we all know you’re waiting for.

But in addition to all of this, we’ve also been making a few little enhancements to DropTask which you may have missed. So in part 1 of this blog, we’re going to give you a quick insight into our journey over the past few months, with part 2 coming up next week.

 Back in November…

 

All of your questions and queries came pouring in with the announcement of DropTask PRO (which we plan on releasing within a few weeks) and we must admit – we were flattered by your response.

The team have been working really hard on ensuring that PRO delivers an outstanding and enjoyable user experience with the powerful functionality that you need, whilst still providing the simplicity and fluidity that’s synonymous with DropTask.

During this month, we also integrated with iMindMap 7.

iMindMap provides an unrestricted visual workspace where you can flesh out ideas, explore your options and come to a well-thought out and thorough conclusion – which is an ideal position to be in before exporting all of your actionable ideas into DropTask.

Then came December…

In December, after our iPhone and iPad Beta Program came to an end, the team made the final polishing touches on the apps before submitting them for release. Within no time at all the apps were available, and have since been picked up by sites such as Softpedia and TechCrunch.  At present time, thousands of you have installed them, and they’ve received awesome 5 star ratings in the app store, so a big thank you from the entire team!

Roll on 2014…

From the minute that we shouted ‘Happy New Year’ we could feel the positivity for 2014 roll off our tongues. We’ve got so many new and exciting things planned for the remainder of the year, and we can’t wait to share more information with you all over the next coming months. Our Android apps are still in development at the moment too, but as soon as they’re ready we’ll be opening up our exclusive beta program – stay tuned for more information on that within the next few weeks.
