Introducing Ayoa: the next generation of iMindMap and Droptask
Changing names is big business. DropTask was first released in 2013 – and back then, this was a good name for the unique task management tool we’d created here at OpenGenius HQ. But now, with DropTask’s powerful task management features being incorporated into iMindMap, it’s time for a new name that better reflects the evolution of these apps.
As a result, you may have noticed that we’ve moved on from our previous names to become Ayoa instead – the unique online whiteboard software that combines iMindMap’s mind mapping capabilities with DropTask’s task management features and enabled iMindMap to move from being a desktop app to one that is web-based.
Ayoa is a name that we all love here at OpenGenius, and one that can grow to take on more meaning as our software does the same. Trust us when we say, there are many exciting things to come.
As you’d expect, this name change means there will be some visual tweaks over the next few weeks. Our logos for both appolications will change. Our social media accounts will also now exist under the Ayoa name – and all of our live content and messaging will be updated to reflect this name change.
What this means for existing users…
There’s nothing to worry about (but a whole lot to be excited for). If you are a DropTask user, from your perspective, most things will stay the same and you’ll still be able to use your DropTask login details to access Ayoa. If you are an iMindMap user, this change has meant that iMindMap has been moved from desktop to web. For this reason, you will need to upgrade to Ayoa to continue using the most up-to-date version of its mind mapping features.
What this means for new users…
Hi, hello and welcome. Obviously, our name change isn’t going to mean as much to you. If you’re just starting to use Ayoa for all your work and collaboration needs, keep an eye out for the exciting things to come.
Keep your eyes peeled
OpenGenius are leaders in innovation, and we’re on a new mission to take the rest of the world with us; Ayoa is the tool that will enable us to do that. Make sure you keep on checking in with us over the next few weeks – it might all seem very mysterious right now, but don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long before everything will become clear…
