Ayoa | Home is where DropTask [Ayoa] is (say hello to new navigation)

DropTask [Ayoa] has a new look. But, this isn’t just a style update (though, we think you’ll agree, DropTask [Ayoa] is undeniably looking splendid). In actual fact, this change is more about the feel than the look.

We’ve built DropTask [Ayoa] to be an intuitive tool. Being able to cut the learning curve required by so many of our competitors’ tools gives DropTask [Ayoa] users the advantage of being able to get to work right away. Which, after all, is the central focus of DropTask [Ayoa].

Good User Experience (UX) is a journey. That means our mission is never complete because we are always on the lookout for new ways to make DropTask [Ayoa] as user-friendly as possible. It is for this reason we’ve introduced a new Home Menu to the DropTask [Ayoa] interface and renamed ‘Projects’ so that they are now called ‘Task Boards’.

If you’re an existing DropTask [Ayoa] user, you can relax, your work is still as safe as ever. These changes have come about simply to make life easier for you – and that’s regardless of whether you’ve been using DropTask [Ayoa] for years, or are entirely new to it.

So, let’s delve a little deeper into the rationale behind our decision, and take a look at how these new additions make getting work done simpler and smoother than ever.

Home screen

Dorothy was right, there really is no place like home. It’s important to us that DropTask [Ayoa] allows individuals and teams the flexibility to work in a way that suits them – that’s why we offer My Planner for personal prioritization and Task Boards for the categorization of your various tasks.

With DropTask [Ayoa] Home, you’ll be given an instant overview of your ‘Now’ tasks and a list of all of your recently accessed Task Boards, in just one place.

With the addition of video tutorials on the DropTask [Ayoa] Home screen, getting to know the right way to work is easier than ever before. Whether you’re brand new to DropTask [Ayoa], or simply want to invite a teammate, getting up and running is as easy as 1,2,3.

We hope that by adding a Home menu to DropTask [Ayoa], we have made navigating our tool even more intuitive than it was before. As we grow (keep your eyes peeled…), this feature will become increasingly valuable as the central hub for finding your way around.

Why the new name?

Oh yes! The name change. We decided to change what were previously called ‘Projects’ and rename them ‘Task Boards’ – of course, Task Boards are still an ideal place for any projects you might have. We just felt that ‘Task Boards’ was a bit more flexible; you might want to create a Task Board to help manage a project – but equally you may want to use it to handle personal tasks from a plethora of different projects, hence, ‘Task Boards’ covers both circumstances.

Essentially, ‘Task Boards’ do what they say on the tin, they are boards for your tasks, in whatever way, shape or form they may manifest themselves.

So, that’s all for now folks, but keep your eyes peeled for any new and exciting updates that may come from DropTask [Ayoa] in the future by following us on social media.

DropTask’s [Ayoa] mission is to make the best tool we can so you can achieve the best work you can. Try for free and unlock the power of centralized communication, seamless delegation and powerful task management.
