Ayoa | Meet our new Global Partner for Singapore: Esterisk Consulting Group
Ayoa has a growing number of Global Partners that are responsible for recruiting resellers in their region, helping to spread the benefits of Ayoa on a global scale.
We’re excited to announce that Esterisk Consulting Group are our official Global Partner for Singapore! We spoke to Eric Cheong at Esterisk so he can introduce Esterisk and you can find out more about who they are and why we’ve partnered up! Check out the interview below:

Ayoa’s Q&A with Esterisk Consulting Group

Q: Who is Esterisk Consulting Group and how is it incorporated?

A: Based in Singapore, Esterisk Consulting Group (ECG) was incorporated in 2016 to provide training solutions and programme development services to corporations and education institutions.

Q: How did you discover Ayoa?

A: I have been using Mind Mapping on a personal basis as well as for my training business for more than 15 years. As an accredited ThinkBuzan Master Trainer, I have used the iMindMap software [Now Ayoa] to produce my Mind Maps and to deliver my classroom training with it. For the last 14 years, my focus has been training corporate clients on how to draw and apply Mind Maps onto their business applications such as brainstorming, note-making, decision making and project planning.

Recently, my clients have been looking for online tools to help them generate ideas in real-time and to collaborate and manage their projects as a team. It is timely that OpenGenius, the developer of iMindMap software, has launched Ayoa to meet this new requirement. So far, there have been very positive reviews on how Ayoa is able to help organisations save time and become more productive. The interesting point is that they recognise the importance and effectiveness of a visual thinking tool to help their staff ‘think-out-of-the-box’ and to be more creative. The current tools they used are ‘too linear’, inflexible and rigidly structured, preventing them from generating ideas in a natural and ‘free-flow’ manner.

Q: What made you want to become a Global Partner for Ayoa?

A: Following the global success of iMindMap software, OpenGenius has developed Ayoa as the next generation task management and team collaboration platform. Teams can now use the visual tools within Ayoa to ideate freely and then share with their members in real-time. This enables them to remotely add new ideas, give comments or vote on the proposed changes, with the unused ideas deposited into the team’s idea bank for incubation later. The unique feature that Ayoa offers is that team members can use their preferred thinking tool to generate their ideas individually and Ayoa will integrate the data flow seamlessly, incorporating the team’s previous communications captured at the group messenger feature. Presently, many users rely on social media like Whatsapp to communicate business information on the public domain, which is unsecured and difficult to track. With Ayoa, the team will not miss out any relevant information attached with the idea or project, and can easily trace development and keep track of progress.

Q: How do you expect to see Ayoa being used in Singapore?

A: I see there is definitely great potential for Ayoa to be adopted quickly in the Asia market. In Singapore, many small and medium-sized corporations are still conducting their brainstorm sessions conventionally, using sticky notes or writing on whiteboards as they meet face-to-face. At the end of the proceeding, they will take a photograph of their ideas on board to keep as a record. The majority of the companies I spoke to have yet used any online platform to brainstorm remotely nor to capture their ideas digitally for collaboration. In addition, Ayoa provides users with a vibrant and visual way to engage their thinking and help them turn ideas into action for implementation.

Q: What are you excited about for the future of Ayoa and Esterisk Consulting?

A: In order to introduce Ayoa to Singapore businesses, we will have to first engage the local government agencies and conduct several demonstrations on virtual team collaboration and creative ideation. With the government agencies taking the lead, the SMEs will follow suit and adopt Ayoa as their ‘go-to’ cloud-based collaboration platform.

In today’s challenging climate, teams have to meet virtually and learn to collaborate remotely in a secure platform. It is an exciting opportunity for Esterisk Consulting Group to take this partnership with Ayoa on a higher level. We will incorporate Ayoa into our training, providing our clients with a holistic learning programme with both cognitive and practical experience. With this strategy in mind, we can showcase the user experience here to the corporate users in the regional countries through our network of local training partners.

We’re very excited to welcome Esterisk Consulting Group to Team Ayoa!
